From My Humble Kitchen

I am not a good cook but I do cook when I think it is an emergency. Hahaha! I cook when I just want to experiment or when I am really hungry but too lazy to eat out. :)

Please bear with me. Whew. :D

This is my own version of broccoli fritata.

Embutido, a Philippine meatloaf. This is my first time cooking this dish. Very tiring.

Baon (packed lunch)

Hash brown. I know it looked like a trash but it is also my first time cooking this, thinking about the McDonald's hash browns.

Burn it, baby!

I also cook pasta, but my pasta is a tad bit different. Mine got letters and very saucy! If I am going to teach my kids about the alphabet, they can devour on this dish first.

Have you tried eating purple noodles? Kinda bland, so I added a dash of salt and pepper.

Any suggestions on what I should cook next time? Please send me your comments. Lemme know what you think. :D

Is Stingray A fish?

Yes, stingray is a fish and it also has thorns. I used to watch stingrays in oceanariums but I did not expect it to be eaten. Back then, I thought this round fish with a poisonous tail is just a pet. Little did I know that it was a famous delicacy in Singapore and Malaysia. The barbecue stingray is spicy and it costs S$10 up.

BBQ Stingray in East Coast Park, also available in other hawker centers

For my dessert, I ordered guava kachang. ;)))

Are These Pancakes?!!

Call me ignorant but this is the first time I saw and ate very little pancakes! The pancakes are slightly bigger than a regular sized coin. I do not know where the admin officer from my office bought these cuties but my friend and I love the pancakes to death!

Franc Franc

If you like IKEA, there is no doubt that you will also like FrancFranc. FF originated from Japan and opened its first flagship stores last May 1 in JCube and June1 in Vivo City Mall, Singapore. On its entrance, you will see a gigantic polar bear and an enormous chair that is made for a super giant human being.

I look sleepy and tired after playing with this adorable white thang.

A set of miniature chocolates? Nope. These are candles.

Your chocolate craving would not be complete without a cocktail. Cheers!

FrancFranc sells cool, quirky stuff that would definitely light up your home. Better see for yourself. J

A Marché Lunch

The title may imply that I am describing my lunch as Marché but that is just the name of this quaint restaurant in Vivo City Mall, Singapore. It has also a branch located in Somerset 313. I do not want to bore you with my introduction so better visit their website for further information. Btw, their type of cuisine is Western European. If you love fresh produce, breads, sausages and a whole lot of meat, this resto would be a haven for your taste buds.

Since there are lots of foods to try, I cannot decide what to eat even if my stomach is already grumbling. So, the moment the host handed me the purchase card, I instantly grabbed glasses of orange juice lemonade. You will use the purchase card every time you make an order and if you lose it, you will pay S$100! That is a whole lot of money for your lunch and take away!

A medium plate of mixed greens as a start...

and a Chicken with Red Onions pizza to fill in the tummy. I may be starving but the pizza is too cute not to be shot! :D

To complete my meat cravings, I ordered a Ceverlat sausage. Accidentally, a smiley was formed in the plate after I have put in the condiments.

Filling. That is how I described each meal. If you wonder if they have branches in other countries, fret not. They have branches in Germany, Hungary, Indonesia and a lot more. J
